The Deer Isle Artists Association is an organization of artists, both professional and emerging, and people who are interested in the arts. Many of the members live in Maine, at least part of the year, but there is no residential requirement.

Committed to promoting the visual arts in this part of Maine, the DIAA also encourages student artists by awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors continuing their education in the arts.

A series of exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings and photographs by members is held during the summer months in the DIAA Gallery June through September. October-December hours are 11-5, Fri-Sun. Upcoming exhibitions are on the “Calendar” page.
