Join DIAA

You may join the Deer Isle Artists Association as an Artist Member or as an Associate.

Artist Members may submit one work for the Annual Members Show. They may also put one work in the General Sales Gallery. The DIAA takes a 40% commission on all works sold.
Works under $35 are considered donations to the DIAA. All Artist members are eligible and accepted for the Summer exhibits. Entry forms are mailed out around the beginning of the year and the Exhibition Committee selects slots according to date preferences and to type of work to be exhibited.

If you join as an Artist Member you are invited to add an image (digital image, .jpg preferred, no more than 300 Kb) of your artwork and a brief statement to the Members page of the DIAA website.

Associates join using the same dues schedule, but do not exhibit and are not required to serve as volunteers. Patrons have an open invitation to all gallery openings and meetings.

The DIAA is dependent on members’ participation. Please indicate the areas in which you are willing to volunteer.

Help set up the gallery for the season.
Help with refreshments for the exhibits.
Help as a gallery attendant.
